Ric Flair Reveals His Opponents For In-Ring Return At Starrcast Will Be Announced On Monday

Ric Flair recently joined Vickie Guerrero for an in-depth interview on her official podcast, "The Vickie Guerrero Show."

During the appearance, the WWE Hall of Fame legend noted that the opponents that he will be facing for his in-ring return in his 70s will be officially announced this Monday.

The match is rumored to feature "The Nature Boy" teaming with FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) against the trio of The Rock 'N' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) and a mystery partner.

“On Monday. It will be made public," said 'Naitch. "There are four people I know for sure, FTR and The Rock 'N' Roll Express. The last person is working it out right now."

From there, the multiple-time WWE Hall of Fame legend spoke about his reason for lacing up the boots for one last time, noting he wants to end his iconic career on his terms.

“Because I wasn’t happy with the way I went out," Flair said. "I wrestled because I needed the money back then because of divorce and divorce attorneys. I’m not doing it for the money now. I can always make money. I worked out hard."

He continued, "When I came down here, I started working out with Rob, John Cena’s trainer. I feel better about myself now mentally and physically than I did back then. I just want to go out on my own. I kind of was pushed through in situations back then that I didn’t like to be in. But once again, when you need the money, it’s a whole different world then when you don’t. So this is on my terms."
