Ridge Holland Post-Surgery Update, Teases Sheamus-Style Face Protector For WWE Return

Ridge Holland is feeling well as he continues his road to recovery.

The WWE Superstar recently underwent surgery due to an injury sustained at the inaugural WWE Day 1 pay-per-view event back on New Year's Day.

For those who missed it, Holland teamed up with Sheamus for a bout on the WWE Day 1 Kickoff Show, which saw Cesaro flip tag-team partner Ricochet on him in a spot that resulted in Holland suffering a badly broken nose.

During a recent appearance on the "El Brunch de WWE" digital series, Holland gave an update on his condition after going under the knife, as well as how he might end up being even more like "The Celtic Warrior" when he finally returns to the squared circle.

Featured below are some of the highlights.

On his injury status after getting his nose badly broken during the WWE Day 1 Kickoff Show, resulting in him being pulled from the match in the middle of the contest: “I feel good, I feel good. I took a bit of a knock thanks to Ricochet but, the surgery was very good, the nose is fixed. I’m just waiting for it to heal fully now so, we’re good. We’re good."

On how he could end up wearing a protective face mask like Sheamus did in the fall of 2021 after he also suffered a broken nose: “Yeah, the option’s out [to use a mask]. I think I’ll need some protection when I first get in the ring so, I might have to, you know, borrow something off him [Sheamus], you know?"
