-- According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Rob Gronkowski has been traded from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reuniting him with his former teammate and quarterback, Tom Brady. Gronk still technically has one year ($10 million) left on his NFL deal and would no doubt be honoring that as he seems to have made his intentions clear on returning to football. If and when this trade is made official, it would appear Gronk's days in WWE are over as an NFL return would no doubt eliminate him from any sort of WWE physical activity. Gronkowski was expected to be wrestling this summer at SummerSlam and he is still the reigning 24/7 champ so WWE will have to get the title off of him, though with that belt, it shouldn't be difficult.
Trade, pending physical: Patriots are trading TE Rob Gronkowski and a seventh-round pick to the Buccaneers for a fourth-round pick, source tells ESPN.
