It looks like The Rock is up for yet another award this year.
Hollywood A-list actor Dwayne Johnson, better known to WWE fans as The Rock, once again proved why he has long been referred to in the pro wrestling world as, "The People's Champ."
Johnson was nominated for five 2019 People's Choice Awards for this year's ceremony, something he noted in a post on social media commenting on the news as being a new personal record for himself.
"Wow I was just nominated for FIVE People’s Choice Awards," wrote The Rock via his official Instagram page in reaction to the news about the People's Choice Awards nominations he garnered for himself this year. "[I] think it’s a new personal record."
The Rock continued, "Always shake my head and smile at stuff like this, as my focus is always about putting in the work to deliver for the people. Never expect it, but if it happens I also never take it for granted [because] it’s pretty damn cool."
"The People's Champ" concluded his People's Choice Awards nominations statement by writing, "Thank you everyone!"
