Just like he said he would.
The WWE legend confirmed our report from this past Tuesday regarding what he whispered to Cody Rhodes off-microphone during their intense in-ring face-off from earlier this week.
As we noted, during his surprise appearance at this past Monday night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw from AllState Arena in Rosemont, Illinois., "The Final Boss" told "The American Nightmare" off-mic to his face, "Tonight, I'm gonna make you bleed."
Obviously The Rock delivered on said-promise with a prolonged vicious-and-bloody attack of Cody Rhodes outside of AllState Arena to close out the three-hour WWE on USA Network program.
On Thursday, The Bloodline member, who will appear alongside Roman Reigns on next week's WrestleMania XL "go-home" episode of WWE Monday Night Raw from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., took to his Instagram page and shared a photo of him whispering to Cody off-mic at the start of the 3/25 Raw show in Chicago.
Along with the photo was a caption that read, "Tonight, I'm gonna make you bleed," as well as additional photos of the start of his show-closing attack to Rhodes from this past Monday night.
