The Rock Responds To Criticism Of His Non-Involvement At WrestleMania: "Stop Ranting"

The Rock appeared on The Pat McAfee show earlier this week, giving his thoughts on the WrestleMania main event as well as his involvement at Elimination Chamber and lack thereof at WrestleMania. Following that appearance, the future Hall of Famer received significant criticism for not being on TV to the buildup of the John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes match while also delivering what many thought was a subtle jab at WWE's creative by suggesting that he would have "adjusted and finessed" some things.

Notably, when Busted Open's Dave LaGreca went on a major rant about Rock ghosting the entire storyline and then offering up a weak explanation for his absence, the Rock responded on the radio show's Instagram page by firing back with the following:

"Hi Dave, the business is a complete work. Always has been, always will be. Every aspect of it. Every match. Every interview.
Please join me, Cody, Cena, Brian and the rest of us for our creative discussions so you can expand your perspective. Until then, stop ranting, it’s not healthy my friend. Enjoy the show.
Ps, tell Bubba I have Grand Marnier and hush puppies for all of us 🥃🤣"

LaGreca then responded to Rock's comment by saying that he wasn't angry with the comments but rather "hurt and disappointed with the response."
