Tony Khan faced the media on Thursday.

The AEW and ROH President did his usual pre-show media conference call for a major pay-per-view event, as the ROH Supercard Of Honor 2024 media call took place on Thursday, April 4, 2024 to promote the show scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Featured below are some of the highlights from the call.

ROH SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 MEDIA CALL WITH TONY KHAN (4/4/2024)

* As noted earlier, when asked to comment on the CM Punk interview on "The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani" at MMAFighting.com from this past Monday, he chose not to respond, saying he'd 'prefer not to talk about that.'

* When asked about when the exclusive domestic TV rights negotiating window with Warner Bros Discovery is up, Khan declined to provide the date saying it was soon but that he didn't want to get anyone in trouble by answering. A big media rights deal is coming by the end of 2024.

* Some AEW/ROH talents are on tiered deals and some are on per appearance deals.

* Regarding free agents, the company looks to continue to be aggressive and make plays for big names, something he believes will help the promotion continue to grow over time.

* Anthony Henry from the Workhorsemen, who was one of the ten talents released by the company, will be returning to AEW once his recovers from his jaw injury.

* Dalton Castle’s Boys did not show up to work on a few occasions, which is why they were released, a decision he described as a 'tough call' to make.

* A few more matches for the Zero Hour pre-show for ROH Supercard of Honor 2024 have yet to be announced.

* It's been "a lot easier" to work with STARDOM now that Rossy Ogawa is gone, and is very happy about the changes Bushiroad made.
