Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who is considered as one of the greatest of all time, if not the greatest of all time, began his historic and monumental championship reign at the 2020 WWE Payback Event when he defeated "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match. He would then go on to defeat "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 38 to unify the WWE Universal Championship and the WWE Championship. Reigns has since successfully defended his championship against Superstars, Hall of Famers and legends such as John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, Goldberg and many more.
"The Head Of The Table" Roman Reigns recently reached another massive milestone in his title reign as he has now been champion for 1,028 days, surpassing Pedro Morales' historic title reign at 1,027 days to be the fourth longest world champion in WWE history. Reigns is now only behind Hulk Hogan at 1,474 days, Bob Backlund at 2,135 days and Bruno Sammartino at 2,803 days.
