-- WWE is gearing up to move to Netflix in mere weeks and planning noticeably stepped up over the last two weeks first with the unveiling of a new Raw logo, followed by the first ads for Monday Night Raw on Netflix and earlier today an email blast that went out to WWE Network subscribers informing that the network will be shutting down in January with content being migrated to the streaming platform. As one would expect, this is a massive partnership for both WWE and Netflix and it appears that at least for the first few weeks, WWE will be placing at least one key wrestler on the red brand.
-- On a recent episode of their show on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes reported that former WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns is set to be featured on Monday Night Raw on Netflix more than he will be on Smackdown despite technically being on the latter brand. This is expected to continue for the beginning part of the 2025 (not just the first episode) though it isn't clear if this will be an official roster move or just part of storylines.
-- The report added that Netflix clearly realizes that Reigns brings to the table as far as credibility and viewership metrics are concerned and they and are on board to have him a part of Raw past the first episode, through Royal Rumble and most likely leading into WrestleMania as well.
