An update on NXT superstar, Roxanne Perez.
According to Fightful Select, the former champion is expected to be called up to the main roster soon following her participation in the women's Royal Rumble matchup last night in Indianapolis. The 23-year-old has achieved nearly everything possible in NXT, making her a prime candidate for a move to the main roster. It was reported in early January that Perez's call-up was expected sooner rather than later, although no specific date or timeline was provided.
Perez’s accolades in NXT are significant. She’s a two-time NXT Champion, a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, and has claimed victory in several major NXT bouts. In addition, she is a former ROH Women’s World Champion. A source told Fightful that Perez has been more than ready for the main roster from a performance standpoint for some time.
