– With Drew McIntyre’s continued absence from WWE TV coupled with talk of his contract expiring soon and negotiations between him and WWE not exactly moving quickly, rumors have started about him potentially appearing at AEW’s All In later this year. The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there is almost “no chance” that happens as McIntyre’s deal with WWE isn’t expiring any time soon and the earliest he could work for another wrestling promotion is 2024.
– The report also noted that if McIntyre chooses to leave WWE, AEW would be the most likely destination but WWE would also have the option of tacking on of his cumulative absences from injury to his existing contract which would move back the end of his contract well into 2024.
