-- Yesterday, it was reported on Twitter that former WWE wrestler Velveteen Dream was spotted at the company's performance center, possibly to train and prompting speculation that he was headed back to WWE. As it turns out, multiple sources report that is completely false and Dream has, in fact, not been seen at the PC.
-- Fightfulselect.com, citing WWE sources, reports that the company has no interest at all in bringing back Dream and it would have to be a shocking turn of events for him to return. During his tenure in WWE, the embattled superstar was embroiled in multiple serious controversies. Some employees felt that there was no way Dream would be getting his job back considering the allegations against him.
-- PWinsider.com also reported that Dream is currently working outside of wrestling while putting in significant work into his personal well-being and it's unclear if he has plans to return to the industry.
-- Dream responded to the rumors of his apparent appearance at the Performance Center by shooting them down on his IG stories:
I AM NOT IN A REHABILITATION FACILITY NOR HAVE I VISITED ORLANDO FLORIDA
- THE WWE PERFORMANCE CENTER
-OR ANY WWE EVENTS OR FACILITIESI encourage all wrestling media and platforms to highlight the women and men who put together awesome weekly television! And not waste time publishing and pushing false narratives and fake news about me! I haven't contributed anything to your line of entertainment in YEARS!
Please do better and use your platforms to showcase the bright and prominent future that is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING.
