-- Earlier this week, it was reported that WWE was ready to make an announcement about an upcoming NBC special that would air in December during prime time. Speculation on what that event would be would soon start up with some hoping that it was going to mean the return of the famous "Saturday Night's Main Event" specials that WWE would air in the late 80s and early 90s. As it turns out, that is the plan as an update post from the WrestleVotes account reports that that is what WWE will be announcing.
A source was able to confirm the to-be-announced primetime special on @NBC will indeed be presented as ‘Saturday Night’s Main Event.’
