On Friday, it was reported that WWE is expected to make an announcement “imminently” about SummerSlam. One of the annual “Big Four” events is currently set to take place on August 22nd, and will be going down live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. However, Wrestling Inc. is reporting there may be an issue with the plan.
According to the report, WWE may have some competition for the weekend, as Manny Pacquiao is set to go toe-to-toe with Errol Spence Jr. on Saturday, August 21st. The site mentioned that the bout may cause WWE to have issues filling Allegiant Stadium, which holds up to 60,000 people. WWE does have other options in the Las Vegas city limits, such as the new T-Mobile Arena, which has a capacity of 15,000.
