-- Vince McMahon is on the verge of selling all his TKO stock, effectively ending any association he would have with WWE after several decades. This has prompted speculation on what McMahon's next move will be and what his plans are with the money he will generate through the potential sale of his shares.
-- In last week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the possibility of McMahon starting his own promotion was broached. Editor Dave Meltzer noted that given that McMahon is 78 years old and embroiled in a host of legal issues, he is likely done in wrestling. Working against Vince would be his age, his reputation and "lack of openings" with WWE and AEW dominating the scene. For what it's worth, when McMahon resigned from WWE, he triggered a one-year non-compete clause which would mean that if he decides to explore starting up a new promotion, it can't be until 2025 at the earliest.
