Sami Zayn apparently pitched Liv Morgan to originally be included in his Great Liberator faction in WWE.
The WWE Intercontinental Champion revealed the news when he took to social media on Monday morning to share his thoughts on the new "Liv Forever" documentary focusing on The Riott Squad member that premiered on the WWE Network over the weekend.
According to Zayn, he pitched Morgan to be part of the Great Liberator group, but noted she was ultimately drafted to the WWE Raw brand instead.
"Really enjoyed 'Liv Forever' on WWE Network," Zayn wrote via his Twitter page this morning. "Fun fact, when I first started doing “The Great Liberator” I pitched hard to get [Liv Morgan] with me, but she got drafted to Raw."
Zayn added, "There is SO much to her. Can’t wait to see her one day become Women's Champ."

Really enjoyed #LivForever on @WWENetwork.
Fun fact, when I first started doing “The Great Liberator” I pitched hard to get @YaOnlyLivvOnce with me, but she got drafted to Raw. There is SO much to her. Can’t wait to see her one day become Womens Champ.
