"The Spanish God" has returned.
For the first time since his last AEW television appearance on the February 24 episode of AEW Collision, where he lost to Powerhouse Hobbs in a No Disqualification match, Sammy Guevara has made his return.
But not in All Elite Wrestling.
Instead, the former Inner Circle and Jericho Appreciation Society member surfaced on the AEW sister-promotion, Ring Of Honor, during the August 1 episode of ROH On HonorClub.
During the 8/1 episode, one-third of the ROH Six-Man Tag-Team Champions "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes was being attacked by The Dark Order trio of Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds and John Silver, when the aforementioned former three-time AEW TNT Champion made a run-in to make the save.
Guevara extended his arm to a grounded Rhodes after running off The Dark Order group, and after initially hesitating, "The Natural" accepted the gesture and hugged "The Spanish God" as the 8/1 broadcast came to a close.
