Sarray Makes Her Official WWE NXT Debut During Last Night's Show

Last night's episode of NXT saw top Japanese star Sarray (F.K.A. Sareee) made her official NXT TV in-ring debut when she faced Zoey Stark in Women's Division Singles action. The match saw Sarray win via pinfall after hitting Stark with several strikes and a big suplex. Prior to the match starting, Stark and Sarray shook hands, and immediately after the match, Sarray helped Stark to her feet and gave her an embrace.

After Sarray and Stark shared an embrace in the middle of the ring, Sarray celebrated, and Stark made her way back to the backstage area. Toni Storm then made her way out and attacked Zoey out of nowhere and totally annihilated her near the ramp. This attack was reportedly revenge for Zoey Stark’s recent win over Toni Storm on the TakeOver: Stand And Deliver Night One Pre-Show. Sarray came to ringside to tend to Zoey Stark as Toni Storm stared at them, and left.

There is no word yet on what the WWE has planned for Sarray after last night's episode of NXT TV, but she was heavily pushed and praised by the announcers on commentary and in the pre-match vignette that aired. As previously reported, Sarray (F.K.A. Sareee) was shown in the crowd prior to the main event of last week's NXT TakeOver: Stand And Deliver Night One, alongside WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon.

Back in February of 2020, Sareee signed her contract with WWE and was scheduled to move to the United States to begin her training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in March of last year, but the move was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She reportedly arrived to the United States in February of 2021.
