Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is out.
As noted, the WWE veteran has been pulled from SummerSlam 2022, where he was expected to face Riddle in a highly-anticipated showdown on the big pay-per-view event.
After the announcement made on Wednesday, Rollins took to social media to comment on the situation.
"For anyone who purchased a ticket to SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize," he wrote. "I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control."
Rollins concluded, "Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday."
