Two-time WWE Hall Of Fame legend Shawn Michaels recently pointed to two members of the active WWE NXT talent roster when asked if he sees himself in anyone currently wrestling in the black-and-yellow brand of WWE.
"The Heartbreak Kid" appeared as the special guest on WWE Espanol's "El Brunch de WWE" program this week and explained why former WWE NXT World Champion and member of The Undisputed ERA, Adam Cole, is someone along with Johnny Gargano, who he sees a bit of himself in when watching the product.
"I think Adam Cole has aspects of that," Michaels told WWE Espanol host Quetzalli Bulnes during his appearance on the show (see below). "I think Johnny [Gargano] does as well," he added, before elaborating on his response.
"Once again, I probably… it’s nothing new, but [there are] very similar qualities," said the WWE Hall of Fame member as an individual and as part of a faction with D-Generation X. "I think both Adam and Johnny have similar qualities in their style, and the way they work, that I did."
He continued, "I just think they’re both more talented than I was," Michaels told Bulnes. "And more charismatic in some respects, as well."
