Shawn Michaels Says NXT Is Taking It Slow With Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer Due To Language Barrier

-- WWE's NXT women's division has been bolstered in recent weeks with the debuts of both international superstars Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. The two new WWE signings are already making an immediate impact after picking up a win over Fatal Influence in the main event of yesterday's NXT, setting up a match against Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez at Halloween Havoc.

-- NXT Executive Shawn Michaels spoke to Busted Open Radio about the integration process of Giulia and Vaquer into NXT, noting that the company has been purposely slow with them due to amongst other things, a language barrier.

“The most challenging thing, right now, with those particular talents is the communication aspect and making sure that they’re understanding what you’re conveying, especially when you’re talking about those subtleties. Sometimes words mean different things in other languages, so making sure that I choose my words carefully with the two of them has been the biggest challenge, certainly from my standpoint.”

“We’re also taking it slow because of that language barrier. We’re obviously being patient, I think they are being unbelievably understanding and I think they’re also doing their best to find better way to communicate with us as well.”

-- Another new signee, former Australia wrestler DELTA, made her debut this week as well, being introduced and repackaged as Zaria. Michaels spoke about the excitement the new entrants have created within the locker room:

"You can get along with people and have a great relationship with people behind the scenes, but when the newbies come in and there’s a lot of excitement; there is a good wholesome competition going on in our women’s division right now because it is so stacked. So you have people coming into NXT with outside fanfare so to speak, and our girls take offense to it, and nobody more than Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez."
