-- You can add yet another WWE superstar as having agreed to a new contract with the company as fightfulselect.com is reporting that former Tag Team Champion and NXT Champion Shayna Baszler has re-upped with WWE. The two sides very recently hammered out a new contract with her existing deal set to expire later this year.
-- The exact duration of the contract is not known but as with almost all agreements between WWE and talent, it is a multi-year pact, like in the three-to-five year range. The 44-year old Baszler is a former MMA fighter who competed in UFC but has been with WWE since 2017. She has received backtage praise for her lack of ego and being easy to work with while also being open and available to work with newer, younger talent that are up and coming. She joins a host of recent signings this year that includes Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Randy Orton and many more.
