- There were some heavy weather conditions in Florida on Tuesday evening that many behind-the-scenes in WWE were concerned could negatively affect the NXT on USA show. In the end, as seen on the broadcast on Tuesday night, the show went off without a hitch.
- The son of The Shockmaster appeared on WWE Monday Night Raw this week at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. Berkeley Ottman, son of Fred Ottman, better known to longtime wrestling fans as the infamous Shockmaster in WCW and Tugboat / Typhoon in WWE, was the timekeeper who was sprayed in the eyes by Shinsuke Nakamura's red poison mist during the Street Fight main event against Cody Rhodes. Berkeley Ottman is also the cousin of "The American Nightmare."
