Smackdown Lowdown (10/1)
-Jackie Redmond welcomes all of the viewers on-board, and introduces everyone to her co-host, Matt Camp.
-The hosts highlight a few moments from the latest episode of Smackdown, and it’s time for the show’s first interview.
Imperium
Ahead of his Smackdown his season premiere Intercontinental Championship defense against Sheamus, and a six-man tag team match with The Brawling Brutes at Extreme Rules, Megan Morant wonders what to expect from Gunther and Imperium. Gunther explains “Sheamus got what he deserved tonight. He brought a weapon into a sport of men, and next week, I’m going to humiliate and disgrace Sheamus for the final time.” Gunther shifts his attention to Extreme Rules, stating “and the real disgrace is what takes place the day after. We train our whole lives to stand here proudly representing our sport, and we are forced into a stipulation that has nothing to do with this precious sport.” Imperium moves on, and Megan sends the show back to the studio.
**Commercial Break**
-Matt and Jackie highlight a few more matches from Friday night, until Megan chimes in with the next guest.
Solo Sikoa & Sami Zayn
Moments after the main event of Smackdown On Fox, the “Honorary Uce” of The Bloodline and Solo Sikoa have a few words for Megan Morant. Megan begins by asking Solo about his upcoming collision with Ricochet, and Sikoa says… nothing, because Sami Zayn interjects. Sami says “I could’t help but notice what you(Megan) did there… you didn’t congratulate Solo and myself on our tag team victory over Madcap Moss and Ricochet.” Sami goes on to say “when it comes to taking care of business, The Bloodline handles business, and next week… Solo will handle business when he bodies Ricochet!” The Bloodline members move on, and Megan tosses the show over to the WWE Global Headquarters one last time.
Drew McIntyre
Coming off of the heels of an interaction with Mr. Money In The Bank on Smackdown, Drew McIntyre is standing by with Megan Morant, and the final interview is underway! Megan asks Drew about his message to Karrion Kross, and McIntyre explains “if i was sending a message to Karrion Kross, I wouldn’t have stopped hit Austin with that strap.” Drew continues “it was more of a teaching moment for Theory, because tonight he learned that you don’t run your mouth about Drew McIntyre.” McIntyre closes by saying “Me, Johnny Gargano, and KO won the match, but at the end of the day, at Extreme Rules, Kross… you can’t get away.” Drew exit’s stage left, and it’s time to put a bow on todays show.
⁃Matt recaps a few other segments from Friday’s Smackdown, until the Smackdown Lowdown comes to a close.
That’s all for this weeks recap of the Smackdown Lowdown. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your day!
