After the latest edition of Smackdown, WWE taped a brand new episode of the Smackdown Lowdown.
The show featured Drew McIntyre, Gunther and Ludwig Keiser, as well as a visit from Liv Morgan. Check it out:
Smackdown Lowdown (7/23)
-Jackie Redmond welcomes all of the viewers on-board, and introduces everyone to her co-host, Matt Camp.
-The hosts highlight a few moments from the latest episode of Smackdown, and it’s time for the show’s first interview.
Drew McIntyre
Coming off of the heels of a jam packed night of action on Smackdown, Drew McIntyre has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Megan recaps McIntyre’s segment with Sheamus, and she wonders how excited Drew is about their upcoming Number One Contenders match. McIntyre explains “it’s about time! I don’t care what Sheamus calls it, I just want this match to happen.” Drew goes on to say “there’s a stadium show in the UK, and we have a chance to main event that show, but he keeps ducking me. I promise you I’m going to Clash At The Castle, and finally, once again, in front of fans, I’m gonna become the WWE Champion!” Drew moves on, and Megan sends the show back to the studio.

-Matt and Jackie highlight a few more matches from Friday night, until Megan chimes in with another guest.
Gunther w/ Ludwig Keiser
Moments after Smackdown On Fox, Gunther and Ludwig Keiser have a message for the WWE Universe. Megan begins by recapping Ludwig’s victory over Shinsuke Nakamura, and she wonders how Keiser is feeling, after suffering a thunderous post-match chop from Gunther. Ludwig says “I…” Gunther interrupts, telling Keiser “there was no win today. What happened today was a fluke! The only thing you proved tonight is that you need me… disgrace!” Megan thanks both men for stopping by, and the Smackdown Lowdown returns to the studio.
⁃Matt recaps a few other segments from Friday’s Smackdown, and throws the show over to the arena for the final time.
Liv Morgan
After a face to face meeting with Ronda Rousey on Smackdown, Liv Morgan is backstage with Megan Morant, and the final interview is underway! Megan asks Liv about the comments Ronda made earlier in the night, and Morgan tells viewers “everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but let me tell you what I know for fact. When Ronda goes home, her time and attention is split. When I go home, all I think about is this(Smackdown Women’s Championship). I live, sleep, eat, breathe for this. It is impossible for anyone to tell me that they are more passionate about this than me, when this is all I’ve ever loved for my whole, entire life.” Liv moves on, and Megan tosses the show over to the WWE Global Headquarters one last time.
-The hosts share a few final thoughts on last night’s Smackdown, until the Smackdown Lowdown comes to a close.
