SmackDown Women's Title Match Set For WWE Extreme Rules, Contract Signing Set For Super SmackDown

Last night's episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw a title match being made official for the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules PPV Event. Shortly after SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch turned down the WWE SmackDown Women's Title challenge of Bianca Belair for last night's show, it was announced that Becky Lynch will be defending her SmackDown Women's Title at Extreme Rules. This will be the first-ever WWE SmackDown Women's Title defense of Lynch after he defeated Belair in 26 seconds at the SummerSlam PPV Event last month.

An announcement was also made that the contract signing for the Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair Matchup at Extreme Rules will be held on next week’s episode of Super SmackDown from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

WWE Extreme Rules is set to take place on Sunday, September 26 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
