Some Recently Released WWE Wrestlers Were Reportedly Complaining Backstage

-- On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, one of the topics of discussion were the recent spate of WWE releases. While the most surprising was Samoa Joe leaving, almost surely because of his inability to get cleared from repeated concussions, most talents were let go because they weren’t being used. However, Dave Meltzer noted that he was told from multiple people that at least some of the wrestlers were heard complaining. One wrestler “pouted” at being left off the WrestleMania card while another had complained about their creative booking and this apparently did not “help their cause” at all. It was suggested that most, if not all, would be able to find work somewhere once their non-compete clauses run out in mid-July.
