Sonya Deville Says Adam Pearce's Decision In Suspending Charlotte Flair Was Rushed

It was previously reported that as per WWE official Adam Pearce it was announced that Charlotte Flair was indefinitely suspended and that she was fined a total of $100,000. This decision came to be due to Charlotte Flair completely laying referee Eddie Orengo out until last week's RAW episode came to a close.

It would then be reported earlier by Matt Boone that Charlotte Flair's WWE suspension has been lifted after she was in an in-ring segment with Sonya Deville and would apologize to referee Eddie Orengo on RAW last night. Immediately after last night's RAW, Sonya Deville appeared on RAW Talk to discuss her decision to lift the suspension handed to Charlotte Flair by WWE official Adam Pearce.

Deville said she was just trying to do her job and she honestly thought Adam’s decision from RAW last week was a little rushed. Deville also said that Adam Pearce didn’t hear Charlotte out, and he made a dramatic decision by suspending one of the biggest stars on RAW. Deville then said she has apologized now, and it’s time we all move forward.

Deville said, “I was just trying to do my job.” “I honestly thought Adam’s decision [from last week] was a little rushed. He didn’t hear Charlotte out, and made a dramatic decision by suspending one of the biggest stars on RAW. We need to understand that Charlotte is just human and she made a mistake. She has apologized now, and it’s time we all move forward.”

“End of the day, Charlotte is a top star, and why would you want her gone? As a business person, I don’t think that was a smart decision by Adam.”

Deville then said that she is trying to do what’s right and fair and she apologized to Adam Pearce if he thought she was trying to undermine him as she is trying to do what’s best for both brands.
