Before the show, after Vic and Booker made their way to the announce desk with 5 min before the start of show. Fans were treated to ever familiar theme music.
The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels.
Michaels welcomes the crowd and mentions last time he was in the arena he was wearing assless chaps and now he is in a suit and tie.
He then asked Charlotte if they believed in miracles. He mentions wwe picked Charlotte, NC to host the first NXT show on the road because its a special city
He then asked "If you are not down with NXT Vengeance Day Charlotte, NC. We got two words for ya" with the crowd of course responding "Suck it"
He ends the short promo with "Thats because we are" with crowd responding "N..............X.............T" before he heads to back with 2 minutes before the start of the show
