NJPW recently held their STRONG: Detonation tapings, which took place inside the Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. The tapings featured NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Fred Rosser putting his NJPW STRONG Openweight Title on the line against JR Kratos in the main event.

- Homicide def. Danny Limelight in a Singles Match. After the match, Bobby Fish attacks Homicide.

- Mascara Dorada and Lince Dorado def. C4 (Cody Chhun and Guillermo Rosas) in a Tag Team Match.
- Bateman def. Jacob Austin Young in a Singles Match.
