All Elite Wrestling held tapings for Saturday's episode of AEW Rampage from inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The TV Tapings took place immediately after last night's AEW Dynamite and featured Mogul Embassy's Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage taking on Dark Order's John Silver and Alex Reynolds in Tag Team action in the main event.
Below are the full spoiler results from the tapings:
- The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn def. Kip Sabian, The Butcher and The Blade.
- The Gunns (Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) made their way out and revealed that they want a rematch for the AEW World Tag Team Championships from AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood). Ethan Page then interrupted and invited The Gunns to have a talk.
- Toni Storm def. Allysin Kay.
- IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team and NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champion Kyle Fletcher def. Action Andretti.
- The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) made their way down to the ring with Isiah Kassidy for an interview with Tony Schiavone about winning The Firm Deletion Match. Jeff Hardy talked about possibly going for FTR’s AEW World Tag Team Titles, but The Gunns interrupted. The Gunns have now aligned with Ethan Page to help take out The Hardys. Matt Hardy then says he has spent months trying to get away from Page and wants nothing else to do with him. Matt then suggests a match and if they win, The Hardys get control of Page’s contract. The Gunns then accept on behalf of Page. The Gunns then knock The Hardys, taking the title of the best brother tag team in AEW. The Gunns then promise The Hardys will never see gold in AEW and Matt promises to delete The Gunns.
- Mogul Embassy (Swerve Strickland and ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Brian Cage) def. Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds).
AEW Rampage usually airs every Friday night at 10PM ET on TNT, but this week's episode of AEW Rampage will air on Saturday night at 10PM ET on TNT due to the NHL Playoffs.
