New IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Steve Maclin appeared on Fightful’s In The Weeds program to speak about a variety of topics such as how Nick Aldis' family likes to stay in the limelight of everything and the company has to try and stick in the past because of that.

Steve Maclin also spoke about how Nick Aldis just doesn't get a title shot by waltzing in as he needs to earn a shot at his IMPACT World Title.

“If he wants a shot at the IMPACT World Title, he has to go earn it like I did. You don’t just get to waltz in.”
