A one-on-one match took place during last night's episode of NXT 2.0 between "The Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne and Draco Anthony. As the match was coming to a close, Tony D' Angelo tried to attack Pete with a crowbar, but it back-fired and Dunne was able to fight him off. The Bruiserweight would then secure the huge win and fended off another attempted attack from D' Angelo after the match. Dunne would then bring out several weapons such as steel chairs, kendo sticks, a trash can, a toolbox, and his cricket bat and sent a warning to D’Angelo that he will need more than a crowbar at WWE NXT Vengeance Day.
Dunne then proposed that their match be changed to a Weaponized Steel Cage Match with various weapons attached to the cage. D’Angelo would then accept Dunne's challenge and it was made official that this match will now be a Weaponized Steel Cage Match.
NXT Vengeance Day is set to take place on Tuesday, February 15th inside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
