Stone Cold Says He Was Embarrassed By ATV Incident At WWE WrestleMania 41

At WrestleMania 41, fans got an unexpected moment when “Stone Cold” Steve Austin made his trademark entrance on an ATV—but things didn’t go exactly as planned.

As Austin circled the ring for a second time, he lost control and accidentally crashed into the barricade, startling fans and knocking one person over in the process. Austin immediately checked on the fan before heading into the ring to take part in the attendance announcement.

During a recnet interview with Ariel Helwani on The Ariel Helwani Show, Austin explained what went wrong.

"Different throttle set up than what I'm used to. Long story short, just a different throttle system. I'm pretty dang handy on a four-wheeler," Austin said.

When asked if there were any lingering issues after the crash, Austin replied, "I was embarrassed by it. I think everybody is okay. You go out there on the biggest night in wrestling and you end up like that, it's not the greatest day at the office. You go out there and want to give people the best show that you can and when you fall short of that, it's not great."

After the incident, WWE President Nick Khan was seen speaking with the fan involved, and Austin later returned to check in once more following his segment in the ring.

Fortunately, no injuries or further issues have been reported since.
