Tajiri Reveals He Still Receives Merchandise Checks From The WWE

Former WWE Star and Japanese pro wrestling legend Tajiri recently took to his Twitter and revealed he still receives merchandise checks from the WWE up to four times a year as that was the agreement made when he first signed a contract with the company over two decades ago. Tajiri became a household name in the United States by first competing in ECW from 1998 to 2001, then in the WWE from 2001 to 2008.

Tajiri would then return to the WWE in 2016 when he competed in that year's WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament and would briefly compete on WWE 205 Live before leaving the company again in 2017. Tajiri recently finished up his contractual obligations with AJPW and is currently competing with Kyushu Pro Wrestling.
