We could see the friendship and alliance between NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez and her partner Dakota Kai come to an end soon as after Gonzalez retained her title against Mercedes Martinez on last night’s WWE NXT episode, Raquel approached Martinez in the backstage area and said, “respect.”
This show of respect between Gonzalez and Martinez apparently did not sit well with Kai as she seemed to be upset and unhappy with Gonzalez's actions. The partnership between Gonzalez and Kai started on the NXT TakeOver: Portland Event back in February of 2020 when Gonzalez made her NXT debut by helping Kai defeat Tegan Nox in a Street Fight.
