One of TNA's top wrestlers is dealing with an injury and as a result, was held out of the Saturday TV tapings.
Tessa Blanchard was absent from the tapings in Brampton, ON after apparently suffering a concussion the night before during the Under Siege PPV. Blanchard finished the match despite getting concussed but was subsequently pulled from the show yesterday. Because she was planned to work the show, a storyline reason was presented to explain her not wrestling but she was replaced by Victoria Edwards in a tag match featuring with Robert Stone against Santino Marella and Arianna Grace.
Blanchard has denied the concussion publicly, but TNA sources have doubled down and indicated that is the sole reason for her being off the show. There is no word yet on the severity of the concussion on when she will be back as recovery from concussions can vary greatly.
