Title Match Announced For Next Week's NXT

Current NXT Champion Finn Balor called out the former Undisputed Era leader, Adam Cole during the first segment of the Wednesday, March 3, 2021 edition of WWE NXT.

Roderick Strong Called Out Adam Cole

After Roderick Strong, a member of what is left of Undisputed Era, came to the ring following the opening match of this week's edition of NXT. Strong began by asking his former leader, Adam Cole, to join him in the ring. Strong stated, "Adam Cole... get your ASS out here RIGHT NOW! Adam, if any single one of us, ever meant a THING to you, just a little bit... PLEASE get out here, RIGHT NOW!"

Instead of Adam Cole, the current WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor made his way to the stage where he asked Strong, "When are you going to learn?" Balor then continued, "Adam Cole is NOT gonna come out here for you. What do you think? Adam is gonna come out here and offer some explanation?"

An upset Strong cut Balor off, and pointed out that Undisputed Era was "doing perfectly fine" until BALOR showed up. Strong then added that he believed all the recent events between the Undisputed Era members, were Balor's fault. Balor replied to Strong that the UE "brotherhood" fell apart because of the NXT title.

Title Match Announced By Current Champ Finn Balor

Finn Balor then looked to Roderick Strong and stated matter-of-factly,

"I know how to get Adam out here... next week Adam Cole vs. Finn Balor for the NXT Championship!"

Balor then looked to Strong and stated, "As for you Roddy, you'll never be a leader, you'll always be a follower. Until you get a little more greedy and a little more selfish, and until you do, you'll never..." Strong cut Balor off and attacked him inside the ring. NXT officials broke the two up, powering them into opposite corners.

The match was later officially announced to take place on next week's edition of WWE NXT, airing Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 8/7C on the Peacock Network!
