TKO held an all-hands virtual town hall earlier today where from the WWE side, President Nick Khan took the floor to talk about various topics including WrestleMania 42.
Of note, PWInsider reports that Khan announced that WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque had signed a new employment contract with the company which will see him remain as the CCO for the foreseeable future. The terms of the deal were not revealed, but WWE sources believe it is a multi-year contract, perhaps three years in duration, and that it was completed before WrestleMania 42.
Khan also talked of the criticism that was levied at WrestleMania 42, shaking it off saying that a negative reaction on social media has also dominated past WrestleManias but that such complaints are not reliable gauges of how the events were received b y the overall audience nor reflective of its financial success.
Each department under the TKO umbrella - WWE, UFC, etc. - spent around five minutes lauding their previous quarter successes and the report described it as a "rah-rah" call.
