As previously reported, TNA Wrestling has several talent contracts expiring by the end of the year. Notable talents affected include Jody Threat (whose contract expired on December 1st), Steve Maclin, The Rascalz, AJ Francis, Jake Something, and Mustafa Ali. Additionally, it was revealed that The IInspiration and Cedric Alexander had their contracts expire following the Bound For Glory event last October.
According to Fightful Select, the company has "effectively finalized" short-term deals for several stars. Many of these agreements are reportedly around three months long, though it has not been confirmed which specific talents have signed these deals.
The report indicates that TNA prefers these short-term contracts, and many talents agree, as they keep options open. TNA sources mentioned that this approach provides financial flexibility and allows them to bring in talents who are not seeking long-term commitments.
This development follows the company's decision to hold off on several contract extensions until the AMC/TNA deal was completed. With that now finalized, TNA has moved forward with officially making contract extensions. The company is set to debut on AMC with iMPACT on Thursday, January 15th, 2026.
