According to Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated, TNA Wrestling is considering a move to a "WWE-associated network." The company is open to shifting its flagship show, iMPACT, from Thursday nights to Wednesday nights, where it would compete head-to-head with AEW's Dynamite as part of a new media rights deal.
Additionally, the report confirms that previous information from Dave Meltzer regarding The CW's interest in TNA is accurate. Some stakeholders in WWE reportedly want TNA to find a home at The CW. However, it was not explicitly stated that The CW will be TNA’s destination, and there are no updates on how far negotiations have progressed, as no contracts have been signed yet.
While TNA is not owned by WWE, both promotions have been collaborating officially for several months after having an informal relationship that began late last year. Currently, The CW is the home of WWE NXT, which airs on Tuesdays.
