TNA Wrestling Veterans Have Signed With AEW

According to Fightful Select, The Rascalz were backstage at last night’s AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage special and have officially signed with the company. It was reported that the group has been signed with AEW since at least the first week of the new year, and all four members are said to have signed multi-year contracts.

The report also mentioned that "at least one member of the group" was eager to leave TNA, though all four felt they had departed the company on good terms. Additionally, it was noted that Miguel and Wentz’s contracts expired at the end of 2025, while Reed and Xavier were not under TNA contracts. However, TNA made an effort to re-sign the entire team, but AEW reportedly offered a better deal.

AEW has confirmed that the stable signed with the company after showcasing a Rascalz logo with their official theme song playing before the main event match. There is currently no information on when the group will debut in AEW, but updates will be provided as they become available.

It was previously reported that TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater was scheduled to defend his title against Myron Reed on tonight’s iMPACT premiere on AMC, but this match was quietly removed from the card on Tuesday. Despite this, the report noted that Reed was “happy” to fulfill his prior commitment before leaving the company altogether, but the match was canceled due to WWE's interest in Slater appearing on their European tour.

The Rascalz consist of Reed, Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, and Zachary Wentz. The group has been a mainstay in TNA Wrestling, with Miguel keeping their presence alive after Xavier and Wentz moved to WWE. Wentz returned to TNA and rejoined Miguel, with Reed, who was part of the group before TNA, following shortly after. Xavier made his return in November during Turning Point.
