The opponent is set for Chris Jericho's first defense of the Ring Of Honor Championship.
As noted, Jericho's first ROH title defense was recently announced for this week's edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS.
Tony Khan took to social media on Tuesday and announced that former ROH Champion Bandido will be the man stepping into the squared circle for Jericho's first defense of the title, which he won by defeating Claudio Castagnoli on last week's AEW Grand Slam edition of Dynamite.
“Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite Live this week in Philadelphia, PA. TBS Network 8pm ET/7pm CT ROH World Championship Chris Jericho vs Bandido,” Khan wrote. “Newly crowned Ring Of Honor World Champion Chris Jericho will defend the title on TBS Wednesday versus former ROH World Champion Bandido."
