Maxwell Jacob Friedman is better than you.

And he knows it.

Tony Khan is aware of this as well.

The AEW and ROH President spoke with Joe Otterson of Variety this week to promote the third-anniversary special edition of AEW Dynamite, which airs on TBS tonight, as well as the special two-hour, live AEW Rampage show and the AEW Battle Of The Belts IV special event on TNT this coming Friday night.

During the discussion, the boss-man of All Elite Wrestling spoke about how important MJF is to the promotion. Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview where he touches on this topic with his thoughts.

On how his working relationship with MJF is right now and his importance to AEW: “It’s very professional. He’s been part of AEW from day one, and he’s one of the most important stars on our TV show.”

On MJF being the total package as a performer: “Whether you love MJF or love to hate MJF, I think he’s one of the wrestlers who’s connected with the audience in recent years and made himself a star. He’s also had the company behind him to help build him and support him. I think that he is the total package of everything it takes to be a successful pro wrestler. I think he has it all. He’s a really important part of AEW.”
