As if it weren't obvious already, it's now official.
Shelton Benjamin is "#AllElite."
AEW President Tony Khan confirmed the signing of "The Standard of Excellence" following his spectacular in-ring debut for the promotion in a winning effort against Lio Rush on the October 16 episode of AEW Dynamite at the SAP Center in San Jose, CA.
"What an amazing debut tonight on Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite," Khan wrote of Benjamin's in-ring performance on the 10/16 show. "Welcome to TBS Network [and] AEW, Shelton Benjamin!"
Khan continued, "Shelton Benjamin is ALL ELITE!"
As noted, Benjamin's next match has already been announced, with The Hurt Syndicate member scheduled to clash with former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at the AEW Fright Night Dynamite show on October 30 in Cleveland, OH.
