-- With the highly anticipated episode of AEW Rampage set to go down tonight with the promotional of debut of CM Punk, Tony Khan appeared on Busted Open Radio and added further fuel to the fire saying that he has "no plans to disappoint anybody" in reference to tonight's show. He further added that even though it's often fun to be surprised, "everyone has a pretty good idea of what to expect tonight."
-- Khan went on to say that he doesn't like "let people down" and that the promotion is "going to satisfy people and make a lot of wrestling fans very happy." He said he is looking forward to make some new fans that will hear about the happenings on Rampage and then tune in moving forward to check them out. He concluded that a lot of people will be satisfied with what they see and that it's something "they have been waiting to see for a long time."
-- While neither AEW, Khan or Punk himself have confirmed any of the reports about his return to professional wrestling with AEW, plenty of teases have been dropped by all parties. Tonight's show is being held in Chicago at the United Center in front of an AEW record 14,000+ fans.
