An AEW pay-per-view may be headed to the Motor City.
Following a high-energy edition of *AEW Dynamite* in Detroit, Michigan, Tony Khan gave fans a major tease. The show, which featured standout appearances and intense in-ring action from some of AEW's biggest names, had the Detroit crowd buzzing from start to finish.
Throughout the night, fans were treated to major moments like a heated showdown between Adam Page and Will Ospreay, and a six-man tag match where Ricochet joined forces with The Young Bucks to battle "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Mark Briscoe, and Swerve Strickland. Toni Storm faced off against Thunder Rosa, Penelope Ford, and Anna Jay, while the main event saw Samoa Joe score a victory over Claudio Castagnoli.
The electric atmosphere didn’t go unnoticed. After the cameras stopped rolling, AEW President Tony Khan addressed the fans in attendance with a bold promise.
"I can guarantee we're gonna do that," Khan told the roaring crowd as chants of "Pay Per View" filled the arena. "I just might need a bigger building for that. But I think I know one. Cause I think I've been there before."
While Khan didn’t specify a venue, speculation is already swirling. Detroit’s Ford Field, which hosted WrestleMania 23 in 2007, is a top contender for such a large-scale event.
