Saraya says the door isn’t closed on a return to AEW.
The former AEW Women’s Champion parted ways with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, explaining at the time that she felt she had accomplished all she could within the company. Since then, she’s opened up about a potential return to WWE—but now she’s also acknowledging that a comeback to AEW could still happen.
In a recent interview with *Women’s Wrestling Talk*, Saraya spoke candidly about her decision to leave AEW and how company president Tony Khan responded.
"I was like, alright, time for me to bow out. Tony was amazing with it. It ended up being mutual, which is great. He was like, let's do it. Like—that's perfectly fine. He was extremely supportive about my future endeavors and he encouraged me and the door was left open, you know, which is great, and yeah, it was just a lot of brainstorming on my time off where I was like, okay, now it's time for me to bow out gracefully, I guess."
While Saraya isn’t currently tied to any promotion, she hasn’t ruled anything out. Saraya has hinted at a return to WWE, but as of now remains a free agent in the competitive wrestling market.
