Tony Khan reacts to AEW's Max viewership report.
Earlier this week, SEScoops released a report on AEW's Max viewership, revealing that an average of 500,000 fans tune in to watch Dynamite on the platform, either live or within 24 hours of its airing. The report also highlighted that the show is averaging approximately 60 million minutes watched on Max.
This sparked considerable discussion among fans, prompting AEW President Tony Khan to respond. During the AEW Dynasty media call, Khan expressed excitement over the report, confirming that it aligns with what he has been told.
"I thought that was a really exciting report for AEW and very consistent with everything we’ve been told," Khan shared. "While the numbers are being kept close to the vest, we’re one of the top sports streaming shows, and that report was consistent with what I’ve heard."
AEW programming began streaming on MAX at the beginning of 2025. This also includes a back catalog of AEW's previous pay-per-view events dating back to their launch year in 2019.
This weekend's Dynasty PPV will be headlined by Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against Swerve Strickland.
