Tony Khan Reveals AEW Dynamite Will Run Long Tonight, Confirms Special Time Slot For AEW Rampage

Things might run a bit long on tonight's edition of AEW Dynamite.

Ahead of the weekly two-hour AEW on TBS program, which emanates from UNO at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana this evening, AEW President Tony Khan checked in on social media with some hype and information regarding the show.

"It’s Wednesday, you know what that means: AEW Dynamite LIVE on TBS Network @ 8pm ET/7pm CT TONIGHT," Khan wrote via his official Twitter page.

He added, "This is one of our best Dynamite cards ever, you won’t want to miss tonight’s show! There are [two] title matches [and] multiple dream matches on TBS for you great wrestling fans tonight!"

In a separate pair of tweets, the AEW and ROH boss-man revealed that TBS has green-lit the company permission to go past their 10pm end time for this week's show.

"Thanks to our great fans, great ratings [and] a great card of matches set for Wednesday Night Dynamite, TBS Network granted us an overrun," wrote Khan. "It may just be a few minutes, but whatever happens there’s a chance we’ll run past 10pm ET/9pm CT tomorrow on Dynamite!"

Finally, Khan confirmed that AEW Rampage will air in a special time slot on TNT this week, with the show kicking off at 7pm Eastern Time instead of the usual 10pm start-time.

"Thank you all who helped us reach our biggest audience for AEW Rampage on TNT in months [and] best demo rating in our timeslot since October 1! Rampage will be in a special early slot this Friday @ 7pm ET/6pm CT LIVE on TNT [and] we’re back on TBS tomorrow, AEW Dynamite @ 8pm ET/7pm CT!"
